The Call-to-Action Widget lets you use your brand colors and images to create custom call-to-action banners to display during your online meetings.
The Meetn® Call-To-Action Widget
Widgets let you build custom banners, buttons, and pop ups in Meetn®. Use them to promote your products, services, or links, or to share media files and documents with one click. Meetn® widgets let organizations track Meetn® subscribers’ sales and referrals during online meetings.
The Call-to-Action Widget lets you use your brand colors and images to create custom call-to-action banners to display during your online meetings.
Use these banners to promote upcoming events, products, or services. You can also use them to create product warnings, disclaimers, or speaker bios to display during interviews for podcast-style events.
Setting Up the Widget
In your Meetn® room, click the WIDGETS icon in the top right hand corner and select a folder. Then select the top link to ADD WIDGETS.
Select CALL-TO-ACTION from the drop-down menu and then complete setup choosing from the available options:
- Name your Call-to-Action for easy reference during your meeting
- Choose a display style:
- Select top bar, popup, bottom bar
- Or choose left sidebar or right sidebar style banners
- Select colors to match your brand look:
- Colors can be chosen from a color picker or using hex codes
- You can customize background, font, and button colors
- Choose whether to display a button and/or image on your banner
- If displaying an image, upload a JPG, GIF, or PNG file
- If displaying a button, add button text and target URL
- Note: Buttons are not interactive for attendees on social media streams
- For streams, you can add an alternate subheadline directing attendees on next steps
How to Use it in Meetings
Networking: Use the Call-to-Action banner to highlight sign up links and direct attendees to your social media or personal website. Make sure to use an engaging title and attention-grabbing graphic to improve your chances of connecting with all of your Meetn® guests.
Sales: Whatever you want to promote, make a Call-to-Action banner! Highlight your services or hot products with a snappy headline, graphic, logo, and “Click to Buy” button. You can link to anything – your main shopping page, a specific product, or a registration form to request a quote or attend upcoming events. Make sure to communicate urgency! Ask guests to confirm they’ve clicked the banner before moving on with your presentation.
Coaching: Use the Call-to-Action banner to share a link to your book, class registration, or personal profile page online. Remember that your face is your calling card – add your headshot to your Call-to-Action to increase trust and reinforce your personal connection with your attendees.
Education: Call-to-Action banners are a great way to add highlights and pop-up factoids to lesson plans. Not every Call-to-Action has to have a link; use your best judgment. Use Call-to-Action banners to pop up quotes from famous people, supplemental facts, or links to additional information. Keep them light, interesting, and engaging, and you’ll give your students a great reason to stay engaged with you instead of browsing in other tabs.
