Keep your presentations running smoothly with the Timer Widget! Use it to keep guest speakers on time, or to track breaks and quizzes. You can time your full presentation or a single segment, and can choose to show it to attendees or hide it so only hosts can see it.

Widgets let you build custom banners, buttons, and pop ups in Meetn®. Use them to promote your products, services, or links, or to share media files and documents with one click. Meetn® widgets let organizations track Meetn® subscribers’ sales and referrals during online meetings.

Keep your presentations running smoothly with the Timer Widget! Use it to help keep guest speakers on time, or to track breaks and quiz times. You can use the Timer widget to time your full presentation or a single segment, and can choose to show it to your attendees or hide it so that only hosts can see it.

Note: Timer settings include Count Up, Count Down, and color changes to warn speakers their time is running out.

In your Meetn® room, click the WIDGETS icon in the top right hand orner and select a folder. Then select the top link to ADD WIDGETS.

Select TIMER from the drop-down menu and then complete setup choosing from the available options:

  • Choose to display a Count Up or Count Down timer
  • Select a Start Time (00:00, 10:00, etc)
  • Create Status Alerts with warning times and colors:
    • For example, display a red “Wrap Up” warning at 30 seconds remaining
  • Choose whether to display the Timer to Hosts Only or Guests as well

Networking: Use the Timer widget during networking sessions to time guest speakers and responses during Q&A periods, to keep your agenda moving forward. You can also use the timer to time breakout sessions, breaks, or intermissions between speakers or sessions.

Sales: It’s easy to lose track of time when you’re sharing a product or opportunity you’re passionate about. Use the timer in the background to keep track of your software or product demonstrations, or to time yourself when sharing your personal testimony. Your guests will never know, and you will be more efficient and considerate of their time.

Coaching: Use the timer to monitor exercises during coaching sessions. You can use it to monitor breathing or meditation exercises, to time written assignments like journals or worksheets, or to ensure everyone has a chance to share their experiences in a round table meeting.

Education: School days never seem long enough to cover everything your students need to learn. Educators and tutors can create visible timers to help their students track how much time is left for breaks or assignments. Or they can set personal timers, visible only to teachers, that will help them keep their lectures brief and leave enough time for discussion or assignments in a given subject period.
